Beatlemania lives

21 Sep

We headed out this morning for Walnut Ridge, a limitless town in northeast Arkansas. I’d read about the Beatle Fest. Music on two stages, food vendors, a talent show. What’s not to like?
I found a story.
More to come.

OMG, Kathy, wish I could be there! Have a wonderful time & dance like you’re a young girl again. Oh, and of course, a long, romantic waltz to ‘Hey Jude’ with your hubby 😉

We enjoyed…but the best part was interviewing a woman who was there…almost 50 years ago when the Beatles landed in Walnut Ridge. I wrote a piece about it…hoping it goes to print for one or two of the newspapers I work for…then I’m going to post it on my blog. It was amazing to talk to her.

Hubby doesn’t dance….he’s an introverted soul. Not sure how we hooked up, but it will be 14 years next month!
