Following the week from hell, I find myself in the midst of another Manic Monday with a brain that has come back from mushy and achieved a rather gelatinous consistency. I can only hope that it is cherry flavored.
At least my head isn’t empty. Perhaps I will again find a coherent thought or two.
Although the idea of a mindless moment or two does have it’s appeal,
Falon, Michelle, and I enjoyed a sandwich at Jason’s Deli and then ventured to see The Heat this past Friday evening.
On the way to the theatre we were stopped, side by side, at a stop light. Falon was making faces at me, sticking out her tongue, we waggled hands at each other, scrunched noses, and eventually she turned to find me flipping her off. With both hands, I might add. Michelle was chuckling in the passenger seat of Falon’s car…I could tell…and she posed the question as we were walking into the theatre: ‘What kind of mother flips her daughter off?’
Uh, this kind?
Needless to say there was much elbow jabbing between the three of us when Jane Curtin, as Melissa McCarthy’s character’s Mom, flipped her off in the movie.
Funny movie. Great chick flick, but a good chuckle for the guys too.
Thoughts for the day:
Wouldn’t it be lovely if we all shared equally in earth’s resources, while treating the planet with respect? I wonder who would be first of the one percent to give up a portion of their wealth so that others might enjoy the benefits.
Tomorrow…or perhaps the next day…or sometime soon…
