Today has been rather amusing.
Zach had class this morning; History of the English Language.
Irony: while he was in class I sorted through 3-year-old story notes. I preceded the sorting with a stop at Mickey D’s for coffee and a biscuit. What an exciting morning.
Bob and I pulled a trailer of junk to the salvage yard. We are still trying to clear the barn area and we’ve been working on it for a very long time. There was this one interesting moment when the dude on the big claw thing lowered his cab and assisted with the backing up of the trailer. Neither one of us is any good at targeted reverse trailer action. We don’t use it often enough. I told the dude we just needed to go out in the pasture and practice.
Too many blackberry brambles out there right now. And Bruhonda might get a thorn in his foot.
I discovered that registered mail to Canada is really expensive! We have to avoid that in future.
Here’s today’s Hint Fiction offering:
The joy I perceive in her face lightens my heart.
She runs, returns.
Her happy smile warms me.
I am her chosen, her doggie mom.
Have a great weekend. Spring is in the air and the temp looks like about 70 tomorrow. Ahhhhhhhh.
