I’m hooked.
I can’t get enough.
OMG, I’ve been sheltered, deprived, depraved, and left out.
I wish to thank Amazon and Masterpiece Classics.
I finally got the Otter Box for my Kindle Fire. I’m not afraid to power it up and play with it in the Box. If I drop it, it will survive! I’ve been known to drop things.
And Monday night having heard such great reviews, I powered up my Fire 8.9 which my husband so thoughtfully gave me during the Pagan Present Giving Season, and discovered Downton Abbey.
Let me repeat; I can’t get enough. I’ve finished the first season. I’ll be wired for Season Four months in advance. <big sigh>
I guess I won’t need a TV for the kitchen now. Cooking and Kindle watching sounds like a great combo!
I do heart this Fire.
Yesterday was a trip. Snowy, sleety weather befell the city. Cars were running off roads, traffic was backed up. Zach and I were in the middle of it. My two hour chore turned into four and a half. And Zach ended up at the grocery with me…
I’m not good in stalled traffic. I will seek out any path that doesn’t require me to sit idly. In retrospect, yesterday was fun, albeit tiring. I did find the path of least resistance back to campus. Bruhonda performed admirably with his all wheel drive and gentle steering. And though I cursed and complained, it felt good to accomplish a task in trying circumstances. It also felt good to have my son agree that my vehicle was much the better choice for getting to class.
Sometimes logic does win the day.
